OP
Cashew is one of the most undervalued crops in Nigeria. I set up a processing unit in Osun State with ₦3.5M and it generates ₦800,000 monthly profit. Equipment: destoner, roaster, sheller, peeler, and packaging unit. Key market: supermarkets in Lagos pay ₦4,500/kg for ready-to-eat kernels. Raw cashew price in Osun is ₦600/kg. The margin is excellent but quality control is everything.

Thank you for sharing this. Very useful for farmers in my area. I'll definitely apply these tips on my farm this season.

Great information! I've been struggling with this exact problem. Can you share the contact details of your supplier or agent?

This is gold! I'll be sharing with my cooperative members at our next meeting. We need more discussions like this on the platform.

Can anyone share the specific government agency to contact for the grant you mentioned? I've been looking for funding for months.

I tried this approach last year and it worked well. The only challenge was sourcing quality inputs on time. Plan early!
