We are a commercial cassava farming company in Aba North and we need 30 seasonal workers for the upcoming planting season (June–August 2026). Roles: cassava planting, fertilizer application, weeding, and harvest. Pay: ₦5,500 per day + one meal. Accommodation provided on farm. Must be physically fit and willing to work in rural areas. I had a similar experience. What worked for me was consulting with the state ADP extension officers. They offer free farm visits in some states.

Excellent post. One addition I'd make: always keep records. A simple notebook tracking inputs, costs, and yields makes a big difference come year-end.

I tried this approach last year and it worked well. The only challenge was sourcing quality inputs on time. Plan early!
