OP
I started catfish farming with zero experience in 2022 and made ₦1.8M profit in my first year with 2,000 fish. Here's what I wish someone had told me: pond size should be at least 300sqm for 1,000 fingerlings. Feed quality is 70% of your success – don't cut corners on feed. Water quality management (check ammonia, pH, and dissolved oxygen weekly). Harvest at 1kg bodyweight for maximum profit. Ask me anything!

Thank you for sharing this. Very useful for farmers in my area. I'll definitely apply these tips on my farm this season.

Great information! I've been struggling with this exact problem. Can you share the contact details of your supplier or agent?

As a first-generation farmer, posts like this give me confidence that it's possible to build a successful agribusiness in Nigeria.
