Tractor Hiring vs Ownership: Which is Better for Nigerian Farmers?

This is a debate I have often with fellow farmers. I own 2 tractors and I still sometimes hire when demand is high. Here's my analysis: owning makes sense if you farm more than 50 hectares consistently. Below that, hiring is more economical when you factor in maintenance, operator salary, fuel, and depreciation.
